Convinced of the relevance of renewable natural gas (RNG) in the energy mix, Énergir acts with conviction and proactivity — from the development phase through to commercialization — to develop the full potential of the RNG sector in Quebec.

In 2018, Énergir became one of the first natural gas distributors in North America to inject RNG into its network. Today, it continues its efforts to inject more RNG produced in Quebec into its network and to raise its customers’ awareness of the benefits of this 100% renewable energy.
