More specifically, the Ministry is responsible for ensuring a reliable, diversified, secure, and affordable energy supply. The goal: to maintain the quality of life of the Quebec population and foster its prosperity, while supporting the development and optimal use of the province’s energy resources. It also coordinates the process to end hydrocarbon exploration and production in Quebec and develops government targets and orientations for energy consumption and production across all sectors.
