Polycontrols Technologies, Inc. is a company with more than 40 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration, and the development and implementation of solutions for the manufacturing sector. In collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), we created PolyCSAM to make it easier for our industrial clients to access cold spray additive manufacturing technology. PolyCSAM significantly reduces business risk for clients, both in terms of capital expenditure and technology adoption, automatically making them more competitive on the global stage.

PolyCSAM is a world-class industrial development and demonstration platform for hybrid cold spray additive manufacturing. It incorporates the very latest techniques in surface preparation, material deposition, robotic machining and surface finishing, heat treatment, and process control based on Big Data analysis and machine learning. Designed and operated within an Industry 4.0 context, PolyCSAM gives its clients a fully digital industrial environment for manufacturing or repairing parts and assemblies ranging in size from a few centimeters to several meters, and in weight from a few kilograms to hundreds of kilograms.
