The RNG Coalition

The RNG Coalition is a member-led non-profit organization dedicated to advancing renewable natural gas. Biogas, biomethane, and renewable natural gas are clean, green energy resources. The organization’s goal is to provide educational resources to promote and inform various stakeholders about the renewable natural gas industry.

It also acts as a collective voice to protect and support the industry’s growth. RNG Coalition members hold various roles within the industry, such as waste collection companies, renewable energy developers, engineers, financiers, gas and electricity traders, gas transporters, and more. Among the educational resources offered are, for example, basic information on renewable natural gas, a map of facilities, infographics, an overview of U.S. policies, and recent industry news.

In short, the RNG Coalition advocates for the sustainable development, deployment, and use of renewable natural gas. The organization wants both present and future generations to have access to clean, renewable energy and fuel.
